The Trayodashi Tithi (the thirteenth day of the Lunar fortnight) is significant for Shiva devotees. They observe a day-long fast called Pradosh Vrat and perform puja after sunset to pay tributes to the Lord. Interestingly, this vrat is kept twice because two Lunar fortnights make a Hindu month.
