By Pradeep DuttaJammu: Alert Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have foiled another attempt by Pakistan to use drone to drop arms and ammunition via aerial route in Arnia sub sector of R S Pura Sector. During the wee hours at 4:45 am, BSF personnel of 42 battalion deployed at Jabowal border outpost (BOP) in Arnia sub sector observed drone hovering in that area. "After watching the movement of drone, alert Border troopers fired seven rounds towards blinking light of flying object that came from across. However, drone managed to flee back to Pakistani side," informed senior BSF officer. Soon after that BSF started carrying out search operations in that area. The BSF are scanning each and every stretch of that particular border belt. This is the second attempt from across to drop arms and ammunition in the same sector. Last week too, a similar attempt was made by Pak Rangers. That time also alert BSF personnel had opened fire to thwart sinister plot of Pakistan. Repeated attempts are being made by Pakiatan to sabotage peace in Jammu region. Few days back cross border tunnel was detected in Samba sector. The same sub terranean route is believed to be used by Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bombers who were killed during encounter with police in Sunjuwan area. They were sent with a mission to target security installation to inflict maximum casualty to scuttle programme of Prime Ministers Narendra in Palli village on April 24.
